New Shirt: Designated Hall of Famer

For most baseball fans, thanks to the lockout there is really nothing to celebrate in the baseball world. Instead, people are left to just hope that the drips of news regarding negotiations for a new CBA will soon turn into a report saying the two sides are close to a deal. But for fans of the Boston Red Sox, we got a legitimate baseball thing for which we can be ecstatic on Tuesday when it was officially announced that David Ortiz would be going to the Hall of Fame.

I’m sure anyone reading this is already aware of that, and I certainly do not need to detail all of the reasons he is well deserving of his enshrinement in Cooperstown. Instead, we all just want to celebrate watching one of the greatest we’ve ever seen, and arguably the most important player in the history of the franchise, getting his due.
