This was the final home game of Worcester’s inaugural season, and while it ended in a loss it was a bit fitting for it to start off with a leadoff homer off the bat of Jarren Duran. The outfielder, of course, was the highlight of the first half down at Triple-A. More of note from the game itself was Connor Seabold, who drew some concern after leaving with the training staff. The good news is it was just due to what was called food poisoning, which in turn could help explain the rough performance when he was out there. This game also featured both Casas and Hernández getting on base twice. They were both promoted for this final stretch of the season after Portland’s season ended, and Casas sits with a .938 OPS while Hernández is at 1.071.
