The Red Sox finally won a series in Seattle, grabbing a win on their way out of town on Wednesday to take two of three and come out on top in a series there for the first time since 2013. It was also the first time in a long time this season they’ve beaten a good team in a series. (Jason Mastrodonato; Boston Herald)

Kyle Schwarber’s glove, or lack thereof, definitely creates some fit issues with the Red Sox lineup. But they can’t put his bat on the bench. (John Tomase; NBC Sports Boston)

Here’s another foray into the Nathan Eovaldi vs. Chris Sale for Wildcard Game starter debate, to which I say it’s too early to be thinking about that either way. (Ricky Doyle; NESN)

Bobby Dalbec is better than Ted Williams confirmed. (Rob Bradford; WEEI)

Jeter Downs is finishing up what has been a tough 2021, but he’s not rolling over. (Christopher Smith; Masslive)
