The Red Sox are in a bad way right now. In fact, they are in the worst of ways that we’ve seen from them all year long to this point. Boston has lost six of their last seven, coming right on the heels a disappointing deadline, with four of the six losses coming against division rivals with whom the Red Sox are in a tight division race. It’s great!
The good news is, things are only bleak until they are not, and things in a baseball season can turn on a dime. You know how I know that? Because the Red Sox were riding high into the postseason picture before this stretch. We’re still at the stage where this can be just one bad stretch in the season instead of the stretch of season that will define this team when we look back at it in five years. But it needs to turn around basically now.
That’s your job for this week’s FanPost Friday. How do you turn things around? Do you just wait for it to happen on its own, because you believe in the talent on this roster? Do you shake up the lineup? Do you change the rotation? Do you alter some managing strategies? There’s a lot of ways you can go, but I want to know your one quick trick to making everything okay again.
Leave us a FanPost, and you could be featured on the front page on Sunday ahead of round one. As always, here is our handy guide to making a FanPost.
