FanPost Friday: What should happen in the draft?

If you were in charge, how would it go?

The Red Sox have three more games to play before they are officially off for the All-Star Break, but I think it’s safe to say most fans here are already looking ahead to Sunday. I know I am, and not only because the three-day draft is the busiest stretch of the season for yours truly. Boston is picking as high as just about any of us have seen them select, slotting in at number four after last season’s abysmal performance. While we all hope to never sit through a season like that again, the high pick is a nice consolation prize.

Even just a couple days away, the picture at the top of the draft this year is still a little bit murky, and it’s not entirely clear in which direction the Red Sox will go, or will be able to go. There are a lot of options on the table, from specific players they could target to even going underslot. Your mission for this weeks’ FanPost Friday is simply to share how you want this draft weekend to go. How deep you want to go is up to you. Is there a specific player you want them to target with that fourth pick? And type of player they should be avoiding? Should they save money for later in the draft? We just want to hear your thoughts on the coming weekend. Leave us a FanPost, and you could be featured on the front page on Sunday ahead of round one.

As always, here is our handy guide to making a FanPost.
