We know one thing for sure here five hours before the trade deadline across baseball: The Red Sox are not going to do nothing. They were a little bit late to the party relative to some of the other contenders across baseball, but they did make a move in adding Kyle Schwarber. We know the former Cubs slugger can mash, as he made entirely clear in June with the Nationals, but it is not yet clear what exactly the plan is.
And so with this little bit of a muddled picture, we’re interested in hearing what you, the fans, think of this deal. For this week’s FanPost Friday, we’re simply looking for reactions to this deal. There are a lot of different directions to go with this one. Did you like the move? Did they give up too much? Does this impact a real hole on the Red Sox roster? What should be the plan to get him into the lineup? However you’re feeling about this one, we want to hear it.
