Can the Sox improve to 8-0 against the Yanks? Yes! Will they? Wish I knew!

The Red Sox look to improve to 8-0 against the Yankees on the year, lol, as they debut prized prospect Jarren Duran against Gerrit Cole and the Yankees tonight in the Bronx (7:15 p.m., FOX).

All-Star Nathan Eovaldi starts for Boston, which has owned New York this year, against Cole, who struggled mightily in the post-Spider Tack era until his last start before the break, where he went 129 pitches strong over 9 shutout innings against the Astros. So he might be back and he might not be but we will find out soon which it is, oh yes we will, and hopefully it’s bad.

As of 5:15 the game wasn’t postponed due to weather, but weather was on the horizon. Duran was batting sixth and playing center field, while most of both lineups remained unchanged EXCEPT Xander Bogaerts being out for unknowns reasons and with Aaron Judge out due to COVID protocols. Eight is great! Let’s do it!
