As we turn the calendar over from May and begin the month of June, Eduardo Rodriguez is clearly trending in the wrong direction for this team. (Ian Browne; RedSox.com)

It’s been a weird down stretch for the Red Sox lefty, however, as there are certainly some underlying metrics around his game that suggest he shouldn’t be this bad right now. What do we make of him at the moment? (Rob Bradford; WEEI)

One thing that’s clear: Alex Cora is in the pitcher’s corner. (Sean McAdam; Boston Sports Journal)

While things were clearly rough for Rodriguez in the month of May, it was the opposite for Hunter Renfroe, who mashed all month at the bottom of the Red Sox lineup. (Alex Speier; Boston Globe)

Cora is in Houston all week, where he has to face down his past. (Jen McCaffrey; The Athletic)

To his credit, Cora isn’t hiding from that past, especially with his own team. (Alexandra Francisco; NESN)

Remember the players to be named later in the Andrew Benintendi trade? Those should come to light relatively soon. (Chris Cotillo; Masslive)
