Chaim Bloom made the media rounds on Tuesday, and spoke broadly about many different topics. That obviously included the team’s performance so far, with which he is happy, though he also acknowledges there are still some problem areas. (Alex Speier; Boston Globe)

One of those problem areas is with the outfield, but the Red Sox front office isn’t going to make any rash decisions there. (Sean McAdam; Boston Sports Journal)

Speaking of that outfield situation, Jarren Duran is going to enter that conversation any time someone struggles. But don’t expect to see him up any time too soon. (Chris Cotillo; Masslive)

Bloom also shared that Chris Sale has thrown off a mound for the first time. The timeline for the team ace is not a concern. Yet. (Jason Mastrodonato; Boston Herald)

Hunter Renfroe was one of the stars of last night’s game, hitting homer number 100 as he heats up at the plate. (Ian Browne; RedSox.com)

Andrew Benintendi is playing good baseball while Franchy Cordero is on the verge of a demotion. But it’s far too early to say the Red Sox lost the trade. (John Tomase; NBC Sports Boston)

Chad Jennings takes us through a busy Tuesday with the minor leagues finally getting back underway. (Chad Jennings; The Athletic)
