The Red Sox have been riding a high for most of this season, and that includes where they were coming off their series against the Mets in which they took both games. This past weekend was certainly a down note, though. (Sean McAdam; Boston Sports Journal)

Even just generally it was a rough weekend for the Red Sox, but the last game in particular was frustrating. It was particularly frustrating that old friend Brock Holt was the one with the big hit for Texas to put them ahead and get them the victory. (Christopher Smith; Masslive)
