The Red Sox are trailing in the American League East as of now, but they have an opportunity to at least keep pace this weekend against the Marlins. There are two issues, however. One is that Miami has really good pitching, so runs could be hard to come by. The other, potentially bigger, challenge will be the weather. There is rain in the forecast for all three games of this series, and I’m really not sure how they’ll be able to play these games. They’re going to try as of now, though, with the opener tonight pitting Martín Pérez up against Cody Poteet. First pitch, for now, is scheduled for 7:10 PM ET.
