Welcome back for another episode of the Over The Monster Podcast. This episode, we should note, was recorded prior to Tuesday’s wild win over the Rays. Bryan and I start out this one talking about the uniforms that were dropped on Tuesday. We share our opinions on whether they are good or bad, and generally come out on the positive side, particularly given the theme behind the uniforms and that they should only be worn for that weekend. After that, we spend a little time looking at what to expect from Eduardo Rodriguez now they he is set to rejoin the rotation.
From there, we set our eyes on the first four games of the season and some first impressions from a handful of players in the very small sample size. Specifically, we discuss the starts from Rafael Devers, Bobby Dalbec, J.D. Martinez, Garrett Richards, Tanner Houck, and Garrett Whitlock. We talk about whether or not our expectations have changed at all since these starts, as well as more specifics for the individual players. Then we finish up with a couple of listener questions including one on the lineup cards being filled out by Alex Cora.
As always, we hope you enjoyed today’s episode of the podcast. If so, please subscribe wherever you listen to podcasts, leave us a review and recommend us to your friends. We’ll be back with you next week.
