The Red Sox are still looking for their first win of the season, which is a tad less than ideal considering their first series of the year is already in the books. They’ll be staying around at Fenway to start a three-game set against the Rays here on Monday, with first pitch set for 7:10 PM ET, their first night game of the year. Maybe that will be the ticket to victory. Nick Pivetta will take the mound for Boston while Tampa counters with Michael Wacha. That one is going to be broadcast on ESPN for those not in the local markets. ESPN has baseball all day, in fact, starting with Twins-Tigers at 1:10 PM ET, followed by Kansas City-Cleveland, and then a 10:10 PM ET nightcap between the White Sox and Mariners.
In the rest of the sports world, the NCAA Men’s championship is tonight with Gonzaga looking to finish an undefeated season and Baylor trying to spoil that. The game starts at 9:20 PM ET. Use this space to discuss whatever you’d like. As always, just be nice to each other.
Thing I Like Today
I literally jumped up and instinctively let out a little scream.
But can your pitcher do... THIS? pic.twitter.com/vW7nesRyZ6— Los Angeles Angels (@Angels) April 5, 2021
