Welcome back for another edition of the Over The Monster Podcast. Once again it is myself, Matt, being joined by Bryan Joiner as we continue to get ready for the upcoming season. We start off today’s show with a little bit of news regarding Alex Cora’s comments on Franchy Cordero and Ryan Brasier. With it looking increasingly unlikely that they will be ready for Opening Day, we check in on what the outfield and bullpens could look like without them as well as who could take their spots on the roster.

After that, we spend the bulk of the show continuing the AL East preview theme we’ve had on the site all week. We go position-by-position to try and determine who has the best situation and who is the best player for each position in the division, trying to figure out where the Red Sox stand as well. We wrap that segment up with some predictions for the AL East, where we both have Boston in the same spot.

Finally, we finish things up with a few listener questions, including an update on Hirokazu Sawamura and which Red Sox player is most likely to go in the wrong direction this season. We hope you enjoyed today’s show. If so, please rate and review where you listen to podcasts. See you all next week.
