The Red Sox are getting set to start a very strange spring. It will be strange for everyone, of course, but with Boston specifically they will have a tough road to navigate given Alex Cora’s return and trying to gel a roster that includes so many new faces. (Peter Abraham; Boston Globe)

Cora also has a lot of versatility to work with looking at the position player side of the roster. He has a lot of mixing and matching he can do with his lineup card on a daily basis. (Sean McAdam; Boston Sports Journal)

Here are some interesting notes on how the Andrew Benintendi trade ended up going down. (TC Zencka; MLB Trade Rumors)

After signing Marwin Gonzalez it has looked like the Red Sox may be done, but according to reports they may continue to work on filling out their bullpen. (Chris Cotillo; Masslive)

Josh Winckowski, who came back in the Benintendi trade, will be one of the most interesting players to watch at camp this year. (Rob Bradford; WEEI)
