New shirt: Long Live the Laser Show

It’s a day of celebration for Red Sox fans. It’s a sadder kind of celebration than we’d like, of course, but with Dustin Pedroia officially announcing his retirement today we can take this time to look back at what was an all-time great career in the history of this franchise. Pedroia was a three-time champion, an MVP, a Rookie of the Year, a four-time All-Star and a four-time Gold Glover. He was the heart and soul of the Red Sox for a good chunk of the most successful period the organization has ever had.

And, of course, he was also one of the best quotes we’ve had the privilege of listening to after games in quite some time, with no quote being more famous and more indicative of who Pedroia was as a person — read: Extremely confident in himself — than the Laser Show quote.
