Should the Sox be worried?

Some of the latest signings are pretty pricey. The Corey Seagar 10 years $32M per just increased whatever Bogaerts was looking for. You don't want to lose him, but numbers like that will have many ballplayers thinking they are worth far more than they are. So if you think your latest draft pick can develop in three years, you are apt to look around for a short-term fix. Maybe it's signing Storey if it doesn't break the bank. And you will always need pitching because you cannot consistently outscore everyone. I don't think the Scherzer contract benefits the game either.
