A great night at Fenway.

Welcome back to another episode on your Over the Monster podcast feed, this time looking back on a big Game Three win at Fenway with the Red Sox taking down the Astros by a score of 12-3. The easy win gave Boston a 2-1 series lead.

For this reaction show, it is Keaton and Matt giving their takes on the day. The show starts with some curiosity as to the last time the Red Sox played a playoff game that involved such little stress. The also talk about the game at hand, and specifically an offense that is totally locked in. Prior to the series, Keaton had mentioned the big key to the series being getting Houston’s starters out early, and for a third straight game Boston’s offense managed to do just that.

There is also a lot of talk about what happened on the other side as well, with Eduardo Rodriguez coming through with a big six innings. Not only was he able to shut down a potent Astros offense, but he gave the Red Sox enough length that their entire bullpen is now in play for Game Four should Nick Pivetta stumble.

Things could not have shaken out better for Boston these last two games, and we’ll be back with you after Game Four as well. In the meantime, we hope you enjoyed today’s show, and if you did please subscribe wherever you listen to podcasts.
