OTM Open Thread 1/29: It is Friday

Happy Friday everyone. Will today be the day the Red Sox finally clear those 40-man spots? Who knows?! In other sports, both the Celtics and Bruins are off tonight. There is an NBA back-to-back on ESPN tonight, though, starting at 7:30 PM ET with Bucks-Pelicans followed by Mavs-Jazz. There’s also a top 20 matchup in the college basketball world between Iowa and Illinois at 9:00 PM ET on FS1. Use this space to discuss whatever you’d like. As always, just be nice to each other.
