Red Sox at Phillies Lineups: They have to play again, huh?

After a brutal loss less than an hour ago, we’re doing this again.

The Red Sox and Phillies just got through playing a game that, frankly, sucked for the Red Sox. They had a late lead after completing a mid-game comeback that was powered by a huge day from Rafael Devers, but Matt Barnes didn’t have it. He started things off by yanking fastballs, which is never a good sign, and he eventually blew the save. I hated it a lot.

Now, just 40 minutes after the Phillies walked them off, the Red Sox get to go back out there for another one. At least they have a day off tomorrow? Boston will have Chris Mazza going while the Phillies counter with Vince Velasquez. The latter walks a ton of batters, so look for some patience from the Red Sox lineup to try and get some free baserunners. In the lineup, we’ll get our first look at Deivy Grullón, who also happens to be a former Phillies prospect.
