Happy Friday everyone. The Red Sox play their first doubleheader of 2020 today, which is notable because doubleheaders are different in 2020. What isn’t, am I right? Each of these games, the first of which starts at 4:10 PM ET, the second of which is scheduled to start some time around 7:10 PM ET, will be seven innings long. For this team, I think that’s a blessing. The first game will have Zack Godley against Tanner Roark, the second is Chris Mazza against Ross Stripling. These are two of a whopping 20 games on the MLB schedule today, the busiest day of baseball since the mid-70s! Meanwhile, there are a pair of Game Sevens in the NHL, with Dallas and Colorado playing at 4:00 PM ET and then the Canucks and Golden Knights playing after that. In the NBA, the Heat look for a 3-0 lead over the Bucks starting at 6:30 PM ET while the Lakers and Rockets start their series at 9:00 PM ET. Along with all that, there is US Open Tennis on all day and the Tour Championship continues in golf. Use this space to discuss whatever you’d like. As always, just be nice to each other.
