Happy Thursday everyone. The Red Sox are looking to put that Braves series behind them, and they have no time to dwell on it as they welcome in the Blue Jays for five games over the next four days, starting tonight. They’ll have Martín Pérez on the mound for the series opener while new acquisition Taijuan Walker gets the start for Toronto. First pitch is set for 7:30 PM ET. There’s also some day baseball this afternoon with Cubs-Pirates at 1:30 and Astros-Rangers at 2:10 PM ET. Over in the NBA, the Celtics are looking to keep the pedal to the metal against the Raptors as they seek a 3-0 series lead tonight in their game starting at 6:30 PM ET on TNT. That is followed by the series opener between the Clippers and Nuggets. There’s a couple of potential second-round clinchers in the NHL, as well, with the Islanders looking to finish off the Flyers starting at 7:00 PM ET and then the Golden Knights looking to do the same to the Canucks starting at 9:45 PM ET. On top of all that, US Open tennis continues with second round action and the Tour Championship kicks off today for the PGA. Use this space to discuss whatever you’d like. As always, just be nice to each other.
