The Red Sox play the penultimate game of the year when they face the Braves tonight near Atlanta at 7:10 p.m.
Tanner Houck starts for the Sox, which is a great excuse to post this:

That’s freaky! It’s freaky that the Ninja even noticed it but that’s why he’s the Ninja and we are not. (We spend all of our time bitching about the Mookie Betts trade, so perhaps unsurprisingly some things fall through the cracks. Not spelling, though.)
Not falling through the cracks today is perennial MVP candidate Freddie Freeman, who sat out to start yesterday before hitting the eventual walk off, and is batting second behind perennial MVP candidate Ronald Acuña Jr., who hit a ball to West Virginia yesterday.
The Red Sox are still plugging away, too, with all the big boppers out there, such as they are. This is your second-to-last chance to be disappointed by them tonight, so don’t disappoint yourself by missing it!
