We all know Rafael Devers can hit, and it’s why most of us would like him to remain in the organization for a long time. The questions on defense are legitimate, though. The team isn’t expressing public concern yet despite the issues. (Alex Speier; Boston Globe)

It’s no secret that fans want the Red Sox to lose games right now and are even frustrated with recent wins. The fact is, though, that players are never going to be on board with that goal. (Rob Bradford; WEEI)

More positively, regardless of draft position we are getting some very real positives in this recent stretch of winning baseball. (John Tomase; NBC Sports Boston)

Among those positives is Nick Pivetta, whose debut with the team is the latest performance in a string of strong starts from a Red Sox rotation that has been sorely lacking them. (Jen McCaffrey; The Athletic)

Another positive: Christian Arroyo, who continues to make a case for being in the second base conversation in 2021. (Christopher Smith; Masslive)
