It’s coming to a close!

The Red Sox look to climb one step closer to fourth place with a win over Baltimore at Fenway Park tonight at 7:30.

Nathan Eovaldi takes the ball for the final time having found a full season he could finally mostly finish. I do not blame the Sox for signing him, either. You can make mistakes trying to keep a historically good team together. You can also make mistakes in breaking it up. This is one of the rare cases in which the 2020 Red Sox covered all the bases!

He will he matched by Dean Kremer. For the Sox, Christian Vázquez gets the day off, and Christian Arroyo is back with the start at second base. He had been out for the last few games with back spasms. Surprisingly, the top of the lineup is sticking around until the bitter end. I suppose it’s the best way to follow a bitter beginning and middle!
