I hate to break your hearts, but the Red Sox are not making the playoffs this year. Not only that, but they aren’t even going to make it close. There’s no drama. This team will finish with one of the five worst records in baseball, nearly guaranteed.
With that said, there seems to be an indication that this new playoff structure, where eight teams make the playoffs in each league, is here to stay. There’s debate as to whether or not that’s a good thing of course, and that’s what the nature of this week’s FanPost Friday is!
For this week’s prompt:
What do you think of the current playoff structure? Do you want to see more of it? Do you want to see something a little different? Do you want no playoffs whatsoever?
When it comes to the playoffs, we all have opinions of course, and we want to hear what yours are. If you feel a change is in order, get detailed, tell us what your playoff structure is, and why we should agree with you.
We’ll see you all next week for the Flyby and next week’s prompt!
