Red Sox at Marlins lineup: Ten to go

It’ll all be over soon.

The Red Sox finish up their series against the Marlins this afternoon at 1:10 p.m. in Miami.

Nathan Eovaldi starts for the Sox while José Ureña goes for the Marlins, officially depriving us of a Sixto Sanchez start, which kinda stinks. I mean yeah he’d absolutely wreck the Sox but with 10 games left in the season I can finally assent to a mild tank job, especially if it means losing to the guy Pedro called the next Pedro.

Instead it’s Ureña, who once gave up a homer on the first pitch of the entire baseball season, which is its own sort of notoriety. It’s not quite keeping Nick Pivetta in the minors to get an extra year of (likely) dogpoop pitching, but it’s close. Anyhow mostly the main guys are playing today, except Christian Vázquez gets the day game off after the night game. And that’s enough about all that!
