The Red Sox look to make it two in a row over surprising Marlins tonight at 6:40 p.m. in South Florida.
Last night saw the debut of Tanner Houck, which was a treat, but tonight it’s back to the Mike Kickhams of the world. Or really just the one. Though last time out he was seriously nasty in a way not common to 2020 Red Sox starters. To wit, dad had opinions:
Mike Kickham is going to be the 2021 Opening Day starter

Weird to be older than your dad! Anyhow, Trevor Rogers, a lefty, starts for Miami. Never trust a lefty! Speaking of... Alex Verdugo is playing center field? Sure. Eleven games left, let’s really get to it.
The rest of the lineup is as expected, with Michael Chavis in left in his extended “prove it” period and Bobby Dalbec dropping bombs. Yairo Muñoz is in right which I note specifically to hit the Vox word limit. Almost there! Done.
