Red Sox vs. Braves lineup: Big night!!!

The Red Sox are officially under the luxury tax. Sadly they still have to play the game.

The luxury tax-free Red Sox take on the Braves tonight at 7:30 at Fenway Park basking in the glow of their newfound financial flexibility (which they already had because they can afford anything, but whatever).

Unfortunately, this Sox season has been subsumed by a rebuild effort, but that was true the moment they traded Mookie Betts. Which has come back up again and now everyone is arguing about the trade anew. This is predictable but still kind of strange, as in it’s strange people are lining up to defend it based on assumptions (“he wanted to leave!”) they couldn’t possibly confirm. My take is trading a Hall if Famer is bad and that if Chaim Bloom is really that smart he could’ve been smart with Betts instead of without. Crazy talk!

Also... not really relevant to tonight, when Ryan Weber will take on Ian Anderson. Also J.D. Martinez is out again with his hand injury. You’re like hey that means Bobby Dalbec is DH, right? Well, no, it’s Yairo Muñoz. So that is happening, and Tzu-Wei Lin is in left. Sure.

Ronald Acuña Jr. is out for the Braves. Adjust your fantasy lineup accordingly. Here are the non-fantasy lineups:
