Red Sox vs. Nationals lineup: Bobby Dalbec gets the call

Mitch Moreland is off to San Diego, so the Bobby Bombs era begins.

MLB: Spring Training-Baltimore Orioles at Boston Red Sox
It’s time.

The Red Sox face the Nationals this afternoon at 1:35 at Fenway Park. It’ll be Zack Godley vs. Austin Voth, which sounds like the parties of the sacking of Rome.

The late breaking big story of course is that corner infield prospect Bobby Dalbec will make his big league debut. Mitch Moreland was wonderful, but he is off to a San Diego team that I hope wins it all. Dalbec hits the ball very far and, alongside Triston Casas, is one of the two big power bats in the system.
