OTM Open Thread 8/27: It is Thursday

Happy Thursday everyone. As of right now, the Red Sox and Blue Jays are set to finish off their three-game set in Buffalo tonight at 6:37 PM ET with Chris Mazza taking on Hyun-Jin Ryu. I say “as of right now” because there is some inclement weather in the area in the forecast tonight. It looks like they might be able to squeeze this in, but this is no sure thing. We’ll keep an eye on the potentially changing forecast. Meanwhile, we’re still not sure what’s happening in the NBA. It sure looks like there won’t be any games today — the Celtics had been scheduled to start their series against the Raptors — with the real question being if the season will continue at all. Over in the NHL, there are a pair of Game Threes that look to break up 1-1 series ties. Use this space to discuss whatever you’d like. As always, just be nice to each other.
