OTM Open Thread 8/20: It is Thursday

Happy Thursday everyone. The Red Sox actually got a win on Thursday, snapping a nine-game streak and hopefully sparking a run. Not towards the playoffs, of course, but at least towards respectability. The bar is low. They’ll look to make good on that this weekend with a four-game set against the Orioles that gets underway tonight at 7:30 PM ET. They’ll have Nathan Eovaldi on the mound tonight with Asher Wojciechowski going for Baltimore. There’s also a bunch of day baseball today including a contest between the White Sox and Tigers at 2:00 PM ET on ESPN 2. In the NBA, there are four playoff games on ESPN starting at 1:00 PM ET, and in the NHL there are a pair of first round games on NBCSN with the Islanders and Stars both looking to finish off their respective series.
