OTM Open Thread 8/17: It is Monday

Happy Monday everyone. The Red Sox mercifully finish up their series in the Bronx tonight, sending Martín Pérez to the mound to take on Jordan Montgomery. First pitch for that one is at 7:05 PM ET. It’s a big day all around in Boston sports, with the Celtics starting their playoff run with Game One against the Sixers tonight at 6:30 PM ET on ESPN, the third of four NBA playoff games today. Additionally, the Bruins look to take a 3-1 series lead tonight against the Hurricanes in a game that starts at 8:00 PM ET on NBCSN. That is also the third of four playoff games on the day in the NHL. Use this space to discuss whatever you’d like. As always, just be nice to each other.
