OTM Open Thread 8/14: It is Friday

Happy Friday everyone. Things, uh, are going about as poorly as one could possibly imagine for this Red Sox team, and now they get to head out on the road to take on probably the best team in the American League in the Yankees. So that’s neat. Boston is going with a bullpen game for this one while the Yankees have ace Gerrit Cole on the mound. Meanwhile, the Bruins and Celtics are off today but the NHL has five playoff games today, starting at 2:00 PM ET and the NBA has their final four regular season games, though none carry all that much meaning. Use this space to discuss whatever you’d like. As always, just be nice to each other.
