OTM Open Thread 8/12: It is Wednesday

Happy Wednesday everyone. The Red Sox are once again scuffling, having lost two in a row and three of their last four. They now need to win their next two just to salvage a split with the Rays at home. It’s not great! They will try to get one of those wins tonight, though, with Zack Godley on the mound going up against Blake Snell. First pitch is set for 7:30 PM ET. There’s also some day baseball including a game between the Rockies and Diamondbacks starting at 3:00 PM ET on ESPN. Over in the world of hockey, because of some madness yesterday the Bruins first playoff game was postponed to this morning, and they’ll kick off their series against the Hurricanes at 11:00 AM ET. Morning hockey! There’s also four more playoff games on NBCSN after that starting at 3:00 PM ET. The NBA, meanwhile, has a back-to-back today on ESPN starting with Raptors-Sixers at 6:30 PM ET followed by Clippers-Nuggets. Use this space to discuss whatever you’d like.
