OTM Open Thread 8/11: It is Tuesday

Happy Tuesday everyone. The Red Sox dropped a long, frustrating game on Monday to open up their series against the Rays and will be looking to turn things around on Tuesday. They’ll have Martín Pérez going while the Rays are going with a bullpen game here in this one. First pitch is set for 7:30 PM ET and it will be on NESNPlus. The reason it’s NESNPlus and not regular old NESN is because the Bruins begin their playoff run tonight, playing Game One of their first round series against the Hurricanes starting at 8:00 PM ET. Hopefully they look better than they did in their round robin games. That is the third of four NHL playoff games today on NBCSN, with the first starting at 3:00 PM ET. Meanwhile, in the NBA, the Celtics take on the Grizzlies starting at 5:00 PM ET. On TNT, there’s a doubleheader tonight starting with Trailblazers-Mavericks at 6:30 PM ET and then followed by Pelicans-Kings at 9:00 PM ET. Use this space to discuss whatever you’d like.
