Red Sox vs. Rays lineup: Brasierball, activate!

An opener to open the series.

MLB: Exhibition-Toronto Blue Jays at Boston Red Sox
Long Cy.

The Red Sox are putting together a nice little run here courtesy of Mitch Moreland, Alex Verdugo and some decent pitching and they’ll look to keep it cooking tonight against the Rays at 7:30 p.m. behind... Ryan Brasier? Apparently, yes. It’s time for another opener, and tonight the one-time feel-good story of the year tries for a reprise.

Ryan Yarbrough, a lefty, starts for Tampa, so Rafael Devers gets the day off, at least to start, as do Andrew Benintendi and Christian Vázquez. Kevin Plawecki SZN it is. Mitch Moreland also sits, but Alex Verdugo is still in there, batting second. Mookie Betts is out of the lineup, being on the Dodgers. Sorry, sorry, I’m trying to remove it.

The Rays feature new switch-hitter — that is correct — Ji-Man Choi at first and batting cleanup and for true Sox prospect heds, Manuel Margot batting seventh. The rest of all of it is here:
