Well, last night went about as well as one could have hoped. The Red Sox stormed into the 2020 season with no problems at all, riding a very solid outing from Nathan Eovaldi along with a 13-run effort from the offense that included a four-hit day for José Peraza and eight doubles for the team to an 11-run victory. They’re a little short-handed with today’s lineup but they’ll look to start the year off with two in a row. Martín Pérez is up against Alex Cobb today and first pitch is set for 1:35 PM ET.
