FanPost Friday: Who Should Make the Team?

Baseball is (almost) back! With some fun rules.

As of now, the plan is for there to be a 2020 baseball season. Of course, there’s also a pandemic going on so there needs to be contingencies in place to ensure the season has a chance of being completed.

One of those contingencies is the addition of even more roster spots. Originally, there were going to be 26 active roster slots. That number has since ballooned to 30 for the first couple of weeks. Additionally, there’s a 30 man taxi squad close by in Pawtucket ready to take the place of any player that cannot take the field.

We already had a pretty good idea of which players would break camp, but the addition of the four extra roster slots gives players who otherwise wouldn’t have a chance, a chance. And the taxi squad provides even more opportunities.

My question for all of you is this:

Which players will make the active roster for the Red Sox this season, that otherwise would not have?

Happy FanPosting!
