Fanpost Friday (On a Sunday): Prospect to Watch

It’s Spring Training. Who are you watching besides Jarren Duran?

Spring Training. It’s the eternal proving grounds for all would-be stars and the first taste most prospects have of facing anything resembling major league competition. The games, while fun, are rarely filled with drama or intense competition, as most are just trying to get their work in before the season, but don’t tell that to players on the fringe of the roster, or those trying to make a name for themselves.

In this respect, the best part of Spring Training is watching prospects play ball against the very players they hope to be playing against in the major leagues. They play with more intensity, more fire, and are trying to prove they belong on the same stage.

So this week’s prompt is:

Which prospect(s) are you most interested in watching this spring, and why?

Because it’s the start of a new season, a reminder on how to make a FanPost will be linked here.
