It’s easy to say the Red Sox need to fill a hole in the outfield, but it’s a bit more complicated to actually piece together the puzzle. While a center fielder may make the most sense, ultimately they may have to shuffle some pieces around to make the whole picture work. (Sean McAdam; Boston Sports Journal)

Of course, even that is easier said than done. And with Andrew Benintendi’s defense heading in the wrong direction, that could throw a big wrench into all of this. (Christopher Smith; Masslive)

The easiest solution may just be to bring back Jackie Bradley Jr., and don’t rule out that possibility just yet. (John Tomase; NBC Sports Boston)

Rafael Devers was not non-tendered, but his arbitration process is a complicated one. (Chad Jennings; The Athletic)
