OTM Open Thread 1/9: It is Thursday

Happy Thursday everyone. Both Boston teams are in action tonight and will be playing at the same time. The Bruins are hosting the Jets starting at 7:00 PM ET, while the Celtics head to Philly to take on a Joel-Embiid-less Sixers team. The latter is on national TV (TNT) for anyone not in-market. The TNT game after the Celtics is Thunder-Rockets in Oklahoma City, so it’s Russel Westbrook’s return. Meanwhile, the Predators and Blackhawks face off at 8:30 PM ET on NBC Sports Boston. There are a pair of top-25 matchups in the college basketball world, with Memphis-Wichita State at 7:00 PM ET on ESPN2 and then Arizona-Oregon at 9:00 PM ET on ESPN. It’s also the start of the Sony Open in Hawaii for all the golf people out there. Most importantly, though, we have Day Three of the Jeopardy GOAT tournament.
