OTM Open Thread 1/27: It is Monday

Happy Monday everyone. Not a whole lot going on in the Boston sports world with the Celtics off and the Bruins for some reason off until Friday. There is a nationally televised NHL game, though, with the Lightning and the Stars facing off at 8:00 PM ET on NBCSN. There’s also some college basketball and Australian Open action. That’s really it. Slow day, which isn’t the worst thing given the sports world will, of course, still be mourning the loss of Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna and all the others who were in the helicopter. To that end, it feels inappropriate to have a Thing I Like Today section today. Be good to each other.
