OTM Open Thread 9/5: It is Thursday

Happy Thursday everyone. The Red Sox are back in action Thursday night looking for a series win over the AL Central-leading Twins. This is a big, big game for Boston and they’ll be sending Nathan Eovaldi to the mound as he looks for a repeat performance after a strong showing last time out in L.A. The Twins with counter with Martín Pérez, and first pitch is scheduled for 7:10 PM ET. Meanwhile, there is plenty of day baseball including the Indians against the White Sox, the former being one of the teams Boston is chasing in the wildcard race. The A’s also play the Angels at 3:30 PM ET while the Rays and Blue Jays play at 7:10 PM ET. Thursday also marks the beginning of the NFL season, with the Packers and Bears kicking things off this year at 8:20 PM ET. Use this space to discuss whatever you’d like.
