OTM Open Thread 8/30: It is Friday

Happy Friday everyone. The Red Sox are back in action for their final west coast series of the year. I, for one, am extremely pleased about that last fact. Boston heads to L.A. to take on Mike Trout and the Angels starting on Friday. As the Sox look to keep clawing their way back into the wildcard race, they send Nathan Eovaldi to the mound on Friday to take on Jose Suarez. First pitch is set for 10:07 PM ET. Elsewhere, U.S. Open tennis continues and there’s some day baseball between the Brewers and the Cubs at 2:20 PM ET. Tonight also marks the start of the UMass football season, a thing no one cares about besides me. I also barely care. Use this space to discuss whatever you’d like.
