OTM Open Thread 8/25: It is Sunday

Happy Sunday everyone. With the Red Sox clinging on for their playoff lives, they have a chance to sweep the Padres if they can pick up a victory late this afternoon. They’ll be sending Brian Johnson to the mound to take on Joey Lucchesi. First pitch for that one is scheduled for 4:10 PM ET. Meanwhile, the Little League World Series championship between Louisiana and Curaçao is this afternoon at 3 PM. That will be preceded by the consolation match between California and Japan at 10 AM. There’s also, of course, plenty of day baseball with Braves-Mets highlighting the early slate. Yankees-Dodgers is the Sunday Night game this week. Use this space to discuss whatever you’d like.
