OTM Open Thread 8/24: It is Saturday

Happy Saturday everyone. The Red Sox won a nearly perfect late-night game on Friday, getting a huge performance from J.D. Martinez to lead the offense as well as a great start from Eduardo Rodriguez. They’ll look to carry that momentum into Saturday’s game with Nathan Eovaldi taking on Dinelson Lamet. Elsewhere, the college football season starts on Saturday with Florida and Miami playing at 7:00 PM ET. There’s also some NFL preseason action as well as plenty of day baseball including a very intriguing Yankees-Dodgers game at 4:15 on national TV. Use this space to discuss whatever you’d like.
