OTM Open Thread 8/22: It is Thursday

Happy Thursday everyone. It’s a strange day for the Red Sox, with Boston and Kansas City finishing up their suspended game this afternoon. Action will pick up with the score tied in the top of the tenth, and this one could go fifteen minutes or it could go two hours. It’s very strange, and frankly I have no idea how to cover this. Elsewhere, the Little League World Series is winding down with the US and International brackets in the semifinals on Thursday. There’s more day baseball beyond the Red Sox and Royals with the Cubs and Giants playing at 2:20 PM ET, with plenty of night action as well, including Indians-Mets and A’s-Yankees. The Patriots are also in action on Thursday, taking on the Panthers at 7:30 in their third preseason game.
