OTM Open Thread 8/21: It is Wednesday

Happy Wednesday everyone. The Red Sox lost a wildly frustrating game on Tuesday and will look to recover and salvage a split in this short two-game set against the Phillies with a win on Wednesday. They’ll need the offense to do better than they did in the first game, but they’ll have a much, much easier chance with Drew Smyly pitching for the Phillies. For Boston, Rick Porcello takes the mound. First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 PM ET, but weather could be a factor for this one. Meanwhile, there is day baseball pretty much all afternoon and Little League World Series action continues throughout the day on ESPN. Use this space to discuss whatever you’d like.
