OTM Open Thread 6/8: It is Saturday

MLB: Tampa Bay Rays at Boston Red Sox Gregory Fisher-USA TODAY Sports

Happy Saturday everyone. The Red Sox are coming off a tough loss on Friday where the offense couldn’t get anything going against Yonny Chirinos over eight innings. They’ll look to break out of that funk on Saturday with a pair of games. The first starts at 1:05 PM ET while the latter kicks off at 6:10 PM ET. We’re still waiting on the pitching matchups for these, though David Price will start the second for Boston. Meanwhile, the NHL and NBA finals are both off and both could potentially be over after just one more game, meaning baseball almost has the sports world to itself for a few months. That said, college baseball is still going on and the super regionals continue on Saturday with an eight-game slate including four potential elimination games. There is also MLB action all day. Use this space to discuss whatever you’d like. As always, just be nice to each other.
